Provision of expert witness psychological assessments & pain expert witness reports.

 

Assessments are tailored to the specific matters of instruction, typically involving full document review, clinical interview, observation, and psychometric assessment.

I am often instructed by solicitors to provide expert clinical psychology reports to support representations being made, including in the following circumstances:

 

1. Submissions to the police and /or CPS pre-charge

2. Submissions to TFL (Transport for London) or other private prosecuting train operators

3. Submissions to professional regulatory bodies

My hourly fee for Court Reports is £120.

Estimate for a typical report is between £960 and £1440 . This is estimated as follows:

• Interview with the client – and wherever possible/relevant or available, a family member / close relative (typically 2 hours)

• Reviewing relevant medical/psychological records (between 2 and 4 hours per medium to large bundle of notes equivalent) Typically around 60 pages per hour

• Scoring psychometric questionnaires, writing the report and recommendations, (typically between 4 and 7 hours)

 

I am typically able to see the client within 1-2 weeks of acceptance of these terms or referral and to submit the final report within 4 weeks of the date of completion of data collection (this typically being the interview date or later if additional information is required) – excluding any booked annual leave.
